From the archives: Historic fabric origins
.A storied walk through history using textiles. Many of the best design houses have extensive archives of patterns from which each new season is influenced. Our guest speaker for this session is taking us through the history of many of our favorite patterns with a look at how color has changed, how styles have been updated and why the classics remain among our favorites – think toile, paisley, stripes. How have the designs we use today been influenced by the textiles of the past?
